The included wall bracket is just barely over 16 inches, so it will not cover more than 1 stud if you have 24 inch studs (and it will severely limit your options if your studs are not positioned such that the mount is centered on your wall even if you have 16 inch studs). With 24 inch studs you will either need to take your chances with drywall anchors/toggle bolts on one side, install a 2x4 horizontally between the studs (if you want the TV to be flush with the wall), or install a larger piece of plywood across two studs and then screw the mount into the plywood (if you don't care about flush mounting).
