“just got my TV installed two days ago. My 4K APPLE TV is not recognizing4k HDR. It is not converting to 4k HDR it is staying at 4k SDR even though my TV supports HDR 10 ETC.”

As long as you are running the HDMI cable directly from the Apple TV to an input on the TV, your HDMI cable probably needs to be changed to a newer spec cable.
