One of the answers said yes, and that is dangerously wrong. The included flush mount bracket is not intended to be left extended at all; it is not a strong bracket and does not have adequate support when in the extended position unless you have most of its mounting holes embedded into solid wood or brick/concrete, and even then given what I know about the rest of the bracket, I'd be wary of trusting the hinged portion long term in extended position. I installed the 77" version with strong connections on the four corners into studs, given the bracket is only 16" wide and that's all I had to work with other than nearly useless drywall anchors in the middle holes. In the five or so minutes I had the bracket fully extended to connect cables, it slightly deformed around the top two corner mount points and yanked the drywall anchors out, damaging the drywall. That left me completely uncomfortable leaving it in that state; I cut the drywall open and installed cross members between the studs to properly secure the bracket. It seems completely stable now, but I'd still not leave it in the extended position.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Hai. Although the LG Gallery TV Flush Wall Mount, Model # WB20GB for the LG GX 77 inch Class with Gallery Design 4K Smart OLED TV w/AI ThinQ® (76.7'' Diag), Model # OLED77GXPUA lets you extend the TV, it is designed to allow you extend the TV out to reach behind the TV easily for cable connection and push it back in when finished, but it is not intended to be used with it extended out so we do not recommended that you leave it in the extended position. The TV is also VESA compliant and has a VESA Wall Mount Pattern of 300 x 300 mm so you can use a VESA compliant Articulating or Full Motion Mount that you can extend out and leave in that extended position. You just wont have the flush mounting...^IFV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but it will ruin look of gallery series, it's meant to look impossibly thin, picture frame like. I did not reinstall my old leds behind new tv. Also tv is not as sturdy unless pushed flush to wall.
