Very very tight tolerance for error honestly the hardest install I've had. The issue is they put keyholes on the slots so there is no room for error. Forget the studfinder, you are gonna have to use the drywall knife to verify your studs location and center for this one. What a nightmare....seriously. even "B the installer" struggled with his GX and G1 and he does it as a living. Lg def needs a redesign. Luckily for me I had a doublestud on one side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The bracket that comes with the TV is very narrow, so unless where you want the TV fits exactly between two studs, you will need another mount. We just had our installed a few weeks ago and that is what we had to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The short answer is yes.... mine did not.... in my walls I had 24” centers with metal studs.... I ended up using 4- 1/4 butterfly bolts in 1/2” drywall. Then I drilled 1/4” hole through the metal studs into the bedroom closet and put a bolt through wall with large washer and nut. On the wall for 2 weeks now and is very solid. To mount the TV it is a 3 person job, one at each end holding television and 1 looking over the top to guide into brackets... made it very easy. Television is heavy......
