Assuming you are using the included mount, yes, it is fairly easy. I've had to make changes a few times. The included instructions explain how to do this and explain it far better than I probably can. It's best to pull the TV to one side. In other words, one side is near the wall and the other side is all the way out. When you push it back in, you should feel it sort of "lock" into place, though it is subtle.
