Does the fan motor stay on constant? null

In Energy Saver mode, the fan and the compressor in the LG 8, 000 BTU Window Air Conditioner with Wi-Fi Controls, LW8017ERSM1, will turn off when the set temperature is achieved. Approximately every 3 minutes the fan turns on to allow the unit sensor to accurately determine if more cooling is needed. In Cool mode, the fan and the compressor run continuously...^Ivan.
