The size of the recessed media box you use will determine whether you will have enough room to put a small cable set-top box behind the TV. Regrettably, without knowing the dimensions for that "small cable set-top box", or which recessed box you use, there is no way to determine that. Typically, when flush-mounting the LG - 83" Class G5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV with One Wall Design (2025), Model # OLED83G5WUA, using the included bracket, there is very little to no room behind the panel for a cable box. The TV sits nearly flush with the wall. A large, recessed media box is needed for power/cables, but placing a set-top box inside is generally not feasible without causing the TV to protrude...^Ivan.
