You can connect an indoor or outdoor antenna to the LG 86 inch Class 4K Smart UHD TV w/AI ThinQ® (85.6'' Diag), Model # 86UM8070PUA. An HDTV antenna allows you to pick up local channels, and several others, for free live TV. ... With an HDTV antenna, you can pick up over-the-air (OTA) broadcast channels such as ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, CW, PBS, ION and many others. As a rule of thumb, indoor antennas are suitable for areas with strong or very strong signals, the attic/outdoor antennas work in areas of medium signal strength, and the larger outdoor antennas in areas of weak signals.
