• I believe the width of each one is 29 inch. My space is super tight and I have a total of 59 inches and I was able to get them in there but it was very challenging. I would recommend a few inches more so that they can slide in tye space a little better and are not rubbing against each other. Hope this answer helps.

• The washer and dryer have a width of 29". Additional clearance recommended are as follows: allow for sufficient space between the walls and the units for installation of 1", additional spacing should be considered for ease of installation and servicing and additional clearances might be required for wall, door and floor moldings. ^Daphane
