• Model A905RM has a Power button to activate the Normal mode. To turn off the appliance, press the Power button again. ^Daphane

• No - and that's a big reason why I chose this one over the Dyson. You can adjust the suction power on this one, too... I always use it in Turbo mode (because why not).
