“does the ice maker require being hooked up to water? In other words: can it just be moved into place and plugged in or when installed does it require additional hose hook up to water in order to work? Is there a leakage concern? Also, is it loud?”

The ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG 25.5 cu. Ft. Counter-Depth MAX, 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Full-Convert Drawer™ and Internal Ice and Water Dispenser, Model # LF26C8210S, requires a water line supply hookup that will supply water for the Ice Maker and water dispenser. The refrigerator does not have a built-in replaceable 6-month water filter, so if you connect a reverse osmosis water filtration system to a cold water supply line, the water pressure must be a minimum of 40 - 60 psi minimum to the reverse osmosis system (2.8 kgf/cm2 - 4.2 kgf/cm2, or less than 2 - 3 seconds to fill a cup of 7 oz capacity).
