Smart Counter-Depth MAX™ Refrigerator with Dual Ice Makers, Model # LRFXC2606S, shows four types of control panels for different variants of the refrigerator (Type A, Type B, Type C, and Type D). If your refrigerator has a Type A, or Type B control panel, there is an In-Door Ice button on the control panel that you can press and hold for three seconds to turn the IN-Door Ice maker On/Off as instructed on bullet 8 on page 29. If you have a Type C or Type D control panel, your ice maker will have a power switch on it...^Ivan.

    • Answer Another question - if we have a decorative panel installed around the fridge space in our kitchen, and we push this fridge back so that the edge of the case/door gasket is 1" in front of the opening, and the countertop is 1.5" away (the panel has a decorative spacer at the front edge) and sticks out 1" (so even with the door gasket), will the door of this fridge hit either the spacer or the countertop? (Photos are of old standard depth fridge installed)

  • QuestionDoes it have zero degree hinges so door wont hit handle on my cabinets on either side ? My intent is to install the frig with doors and seal forward of the adjacent cabinets...but my cabinets have handles on them that stick out about 1.5 inches.

  • QuestionSo the width of my fridge space is 38 inches and has a depth of 28 inches. Is that enough space to be able to fully open the fridge doors without hitting the walls?

    • Answer The fridge itself is deeper than 28". I think I understand the footprint you want to put it in, but the fridge doors will stick out a little over an inch beyond that 28". How much room do you have in front of the fridge? You need at least 18" in front to open a door 90 degrees without hitting anything, and more if you plan on standing in front of the door(s) while open, and not basically standing to the side and opening one door at a time and standing between them.
