You’ll only hear the door-open alarm if a door remains ajar, or the temperature alarm if internal temperatures rise above safe thresholds—but there’s no startup chime on power-up. Troubleshooting step: If you ever wish to silence the door-open or temperature alarms, you can engage Sabbath Mode: Press and hold both the Power and Light buttons on the dispenser control for 3 seconds.
