  • QuestionWater supply location?

    Asked by Joe.

    • Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG 26 cu. ft. Smart InstaView® Counter-Depth MAX™ French Door Refrigerator (LRFOC2606S) model. It's easy to connect the water supply to your LG LRFOC2606S refrigerator with these steps: 1. Find the water line connection: Look at the back of your fridge for the water line connection, which can vary by model. 2. Use the right tubing and connectors: You'll need 1/4" outer diameter copper or PEX tubing for LG refrigerators. If you have a different size, you'll need an adapter or connector. 3. Connect the water line: Connect the tubing to the rear of the fridge and make sure it's secure. 4. Turn on the water supply valve: Turn on the valve to let water flow to the fridge. Check for leaks and tighten connections if needed. 5. Flush the tubing: Run water through the tubing until it runs clear. 6. Plug in the refrigerator: After finishing the water supply, plug in the fridge and let it cool for 4 hours before putting food inside. • QuestionDoes this refrigerator come with back wheels and adjusters? Mine only came with them on the front. Which makes it unable to be leveled properly or move easily for cleaning.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Thank you for your interest in the LG 26 cu. ft. Smart InstaView® Counter-Depth MAX™ French Door Refrigerator (LRFOC2606S) model. The LG LRFOC2606S refrigerator only has front wheels for easy installation and cleaning - there are no back wheels or adjusters. To level the refrigerator correctly, follow these steps: 1. Remove the base grill and the holding screws if your model has a base plate. 2. There are two front leveling screws - use a flathead screwdriver to adjust them as needed. 3. Check that both doors close easily - adjust the back tilt by turning both leveling screws clockwise if necessary. To adjust the doors, use the adjustable nut on the bottom hinge - turn it right to raise the door and left to lower it. Use the wrench provided in the owner's manual to do this. • QuestionHow far in the future can you schedule a delivery?

    Asked by Gerry.

    • Answer Hi Gery, I am not sure of the exact date or number of months in the future. I am sure it can be done as I have tried it. I did it for 3 months for my delivery. When you try to checkout for major appliances, you would see the page in the 1st. pic that I attached. Then in the next section you should be able to select the delivery date. Please refer to the 2nd pic. The circle in the pic can be used to change the month. Hopefully this helps. Incase you had any follow up questions please let me know

  • QuestionAttn. LG, I was told by LG customer support to write to your environmental office at lg.environmental.lge.com with specific questions about Prop 65 warnings on this refrigerator and the air filter inside. They have not responded in a MONTH yet.

    Asked by Shopper.

    • Answer Proposition 65 became law in the state of California in 1986. This law requires California to annually publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm and it requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposure to chemicals that can cause risk of cancer. This list of chemicals, which has to be updated once a year, has grown to approximately 900 chemicals (1) and features a wide arrange of chemicals and substances. If you're familiar with Prop 65 warnings, you're probably not surprised to see it on products in a hardware store, but you will also find it on food and beverages. But the reason certain chemicals appear in products can be a little more complicated, and makes more sense, than you might think. Take acrylamide for instance: it's on the Prop 65 list as a cancer-causing chemical but it can form naturally on the surface of certain plant-based foods after it's been browned during cooking at high temperatures. Products containing ingredients like roasted coffee or nuts, toast, or breakfast cereals might warrant a Prop 65 warning if acrylamide levels are high enough, even though the chemical wasn't intentionally added. Some other common substances of concern include arsenic in rice or seaweed, BPA in plastic or can linings, cadmium in fish or vegetables, lead in supplements or vitamins, and mercury in fish. Simply put, the warning means that the manufacturer believes the product might contain any of the 900-plus chemicals that the State of California considers harmful. It does not mean that the labeled products themselves are necessarily harmful or are in violation of any safety standard. Many of the chemicals that are included under the warning have been routinely used in many everyday items -- such as drugs, dyes, food, additives, solvents, and pesticides -- for years, all without documented harm. Most built-in refrigerator filters, including these air filters that you are inquiring about that use a coconut shell activated carbon filter, use activated carbon as a filtration medium. Proposition 65 also requires any company doing business in California to notify California consumers about the presence of a Proposition 65-listed chemical in any product the company is offering for sale in California. Proposition 65 does not ban the sale of a product that contains a listed chemical; it simply requires that the product have a “clear and reasonable” warning notice on it...^Ivan
