Because California
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I know what Prop 65 is all about. My question is why would an air filter that is inside the refrigerator have a warning label? I can understand a warning on some part outside, but as a consumer I am concerned about such a warning label on a part that is actually in the refrigerator with air presumably flowing through it and circulating over the food. What is the cancer/reproductive harm specifically associated with this part INSIDE the refrigerator where food is kept?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Exposure to these chemicals may take place when products are acquired or used. Exposure may also occur in homes, workplaces, or other environments in California. By requiring that this information be provided, Proposition 65 enables Californians to make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals. ^Vanessa
