Thank you for your interest in the LG Refrigerator. The LG LRFLC2706S refrigerator requires a water line connection for the operation of its water dispenser and automatic ice maker. Without a water line, you can still use the refrigerator for general cooling and food storage, but you will not be able to utilize the water and ice features.
