Is this LG Refrigerator Noisy? null

I don't think it is noisy at all. I hear the ice maker every once in a while, but I don't hear any noise coming from it on a regular basis.

"How loud or noisy" is a relative question. I would say that the continuous operation of the compressor has not been noisy. I was at first alarmed by an occasional "pop" sounding like something falling over in a drawer or on a shelf. I have come to believe that this noise is expansion, happening mostly when I have recently made a large volume purchase of groceries, the temp rises in the refrigerator and then cools to the set temperature.

This fridge seems to have a louder noise to it than our older fridge (kitchenaide). I wouldn't have made a case for it till it was brought to my attention, plus my three kids drown out any minor noise or intellectual thought(I do love them). For $3000(on sale) I would like it to not make a noise. Except for the wonderful ice falling. But like my kids I have to accept the good with the bad.
