Yes, u do not need internet to watch dvds.

I use it to play music while the TV is on, through a receiver that is part of a home entertainment system. In any event you do not need internet to connect this player with a TV. It is also very inexpensive which is an added bonus. LG DP132 DVD PLAYER

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can. The DVD or TV does not have to connected to the internet. The only connection needed is from the TV to the DVD via HDMI cable, modern TV or not. It is good enough to watch DVDs, not Blue ray or 4Ks just DVDs.
