• no this is not a DVD burner. you can not copy dvd's on it.

• Hi Paul77. That is incorrect. Even though the LG - DVD Player with USB Direct Recording, Model # DP132 has a Composite Video Out that you can connect to another DVD player, unless that DVD Player is a recording DVD Player you will not be able to record anything from this DVD Player. The USB Direct Recording feature on this unit allows you to directly extract audio tracks from CDs or DVDs & transfer them to a USB device....^IFV
