Is this new phone ? or refurbished ? null

This was an "open box" purchase from Best Buy, which, as I understand it, means that someone bought it, opened it, didn't like it and returned it. So I consider it new. I didn't have any hesitation because I'm familiar with the G series LG phones and love them. After using the phone for a couple of days, it appears to be new -- and wonderful.
