- Answer Yes, both the RAM and SSD are upgradeable. There are 2 SSD slots!!! And 8GB of RAM is on-board, but there is one slot that is upgradeable, so you can put a 32gb stick in and have 40gb of RAM!!! Not many laptops are this upgradeable. Kudos to LG, I love my gram.
