“I have an older Samsung surround sound system with a AM/FM DVD unit or receiver. I have it hooked to a 2 year old Samsung 48" HD (not 4k) TV. Can I buy this soundbar, run the TV and AM/FM DVD unit through it and scrap the older speakers?? Please advise.”

Without knowing what audio ports you have on your older surround sound system, we cannot determine if can connect to the LG - Music Flow 4.1-Ch. Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer - Black, Model # SH7B . This Soundbar has an HDMI In, Portable In (3.5 mm or headphone jack) and an Optical Digital Audio Input. The Optical Digital Audio Input can be connected to the Optical Digital Output of any TV or external receiver, Home Theater System or other audio system. The HMDI IN can also be used to connect to any HDMI Out for audio from other devices. The Portable In or what is commonly referred to as the headphone jack can be connected to the headphone jack of portable devices or to the Stereo RCA Outputs (Red/White) of other devices with the correct cable so you can send audio from them to the SoundBar. This SoundBar also has an HDMI Out which supports the HDMI ARC function and when connected to the HDMI ARC port of any device that supports the HDMI ARC function, will allow you to send audio upstream or downstream via the same HDMI cable...^IFV
