Customers have good things to say about the sound quality, easy setup, price, connectivity, and design of the Music Flow 4.1-Ch. Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer. They appreciate the amazing sound quality, simple setup process, and affordable price point. Many customers also mention the various connectivity options and sleek design of the soundbar. However, some customers have concerns about the bass, volume, subwoofer issues, interference, and size of the soundbar. While the bass is not as booming as some would like, most customers understand this given the size of the soundbar. Additionally, some customers have experienced issues with the subwoofer crackling or popping, as well as interference with the signal. Others have mentioned that the volume needs to be turned up quite high to hear anything, and a few have found the soundbar to be a bit too thin.

I purchased an LG SJ8 online from another vendor. It’s a superb sounding system. However, it lacked bass. I looked the older model and found this version and it received very high ratings. I connected it to my 55 inch LG 4K TV located in my basement and it straight rocks. It’s only slightly larger than the SJ8 with much more rounded bass. Plus I paid less and didn’t sacrifice sound or quality. I highly recommend this product.

I had a Yamaha YAS-201 soundbar and decided to look at an upgrade for a newer model with wifi and bluetooth connectivity. This soundbar has great sound and is much more aesthetically pleasing parked under my 65" 4k TV than the Yamaha with it's shiny piano black surface. It also sits flat on the cabinet, so there are no visible wires coming up from behind the soundbar like there were with the Yamaha that sat up a couple inches high on "feet". Theater sound is great for a soundbar and the subwoofer adds just the right amount of bass and depth.

This soundbar is great, great sound, easy to setup. We have a newer LG tv and being able to use one remote and having the tv/soundbar work together well was important for me. perfect for our apartment.

This was my second soundbar. If you want to skip the long review, jump in to the bottom for the conclusion:
Why only LG? I was perfectly happy with my first LG SH7B soundbar which I use it for my LG 49” TV (4k active HDR). I bought this second one for my Samsung 70” 4K SUHD TV. Although, I was satisfied with my first one, I thought to give it a shot for Samsung Soundbar since I was going to use it for Samsung TV. I tried comparable Samsung soundbar (although it cost me more than LG SH7B), but the sound quality was still better with this LG soundbar. I also tried several Demos in Best Buy stores and still chose this product. The only brand could compete with this was Klipsch but I didn’t like its design n shape. Comparable Klipsch models were bulky and ugly looking (sort of old time design). Vizio, Samsung, were out of my equition by now. Not comparing with Bose or Other higher end brand as it wouldn’t be a fair comparison since those cost >$700-1000 vs this was $200-350 range.
Important point to mention: for any non LG TV, you want to use HDMI cable to connect the sound bar with tv if you expect to change the volume with your original TV remote. (Best Buy associates and even Magnolia Associate were wrong telling me it’s not competible bcoz you are using two different brand but that’s not true.) truth is what cable you use to commect the sound bar with your TV. If you use, optical cable, than you can’t change the volume with TV remote but you must use the soundbar remote. This was even true for Samsung soundbar. However, my LG TV remote simulates with this soundbar even if I use optical cable. The best bet is to use HDMI cable to avoid any confusion or frustration for any brand soundbar for any brand TV.
Now, how was the performance?
The sound quality was absolutely amazing! It made me feel like sitting in a theatre. You will feel every punch and nodes of the sound, weather it’s a Chevy Silvarado truck commercial, kids animated cartoon movies, drama series, Reality TV shows or even HD movies. This sound bar had the best quality sound in Cinema mode. You can adjust the bass, treble, and sub woofer effect as you like. It turn auto on and off when you do so with only for your TV. No connectivity problems or frustration with wireless subwoofer. I never had a problem my soundbar picking up the random pop ups or sound from neighbors music or etc etc...
I had at least dozens of guests ask me what soundbar I use.
Conclusion:
Long story short: the sound quality was crisp, clear, yet full of all the sound effects. Overall best quality sounds and exceeded expectations with comparable other brand models. No connectivity issue. This sound bar would turn your TV’s harsh and flat sound into the premium quality sound- at least it did in my case!! (Everyone has their own definition for premium quality sound).

I bought this sound bar mostly because of its price. It is pretty good in terms of sound and volume. One of the biggest downfalls on this system would be the low end bass reproduction. It sounds way better than the tv speakers of course, but it isn't as tight and responsive as my other Sony soundbar setup. Overall a good buy if you can get it for less than 100.

I bought this speaker for only $300 and absolutely love it! For the price, you can't go with any other speaker. I tested all the Samsung speakers (around the $400 under), all the Vizio ones (include the 5.1 surround sound) and I tested the Sony speaker. Nothing beats this! Even better, even though I have a Samsung MU8000 TV, through HDMI ARC, when I turn on the TV, the soundbar turns on and automatically connects itself after a brief 5 seconds. If I had to nitpick, the only thing I don't like about this speaker is that it doesn't have any security or password/pin requirements in order to connect to the bluetooth. Essentially, this means my next door neighbor can randomly connect to my soundbar via bluetooth regardless of the mode I have it in.

I got this bar based on the advice of a friend Actually compared it with two other bars which were three times the cost. I was very impressed by the sound quality it produced. It gave a whole new dimension to watching TV. I was a bit worried when I saw the size of the wireless sub but again it proved itself more than worthy. I mean I had to reduce the bass level for fear of getting a friendly neighbor phone call! And the ease of set up was amazing. It immediately connected to the sub wirelessly and to my TV using the optical cable provided. Also the volume on the bar went up and down as I adjusted my tv volume. What more could I ask for. This was defineately a great purchase!

Though the new TV I bought did not have bad sound, I wanted something more. This unit, with it's blue tooth sub woofer, was a perfect selection for the price, ease of setup, and quality of sound. I highly recommend it.

I have a medium sized living room and paired this up with my 55 inch Sony TV. Wasn't many reviews on it because it was newer but the last model had good success so I gave this one a shot. It sounds really good with TV, Games and Music. The app works well with it and can update the firmware on the soundbar with it which is nice. Very good sounding bass, crisp sounds. HUGE upgrade from my insignia Soundbar (Obviously haha). Anyone that can't decide on what soundbar to get, this is a good choice. Very easy to mount as well,

I bought this soundbar based on the reviews and recommendations from several websites. The sound has been pretty good. I have only used it for TV purposes (movies, games, tv shows), but I can't say I've been blown away by it. Set up was a little tricky using the ARC channel and a LG TV. But once set up, all was good.
There was some initial popping coming from the unit (subwoofer), but after moving the subwoofer to another spot near the TV and after moving/adjusting some cords, all popping sounds stopped. It seems that you just need it to be in a specific spot away from some interference.
Another issue is that on rare occasions, the TV and soundbar will get a bit out of sync....voices from the soundbar lag the actors lip movements. This is on very rare occasion. Not nearly enough to be bugged by it. Turning the units on/off and/or unplugging the units did the trick. Again, this is on rare occasion.
The last issue seems that the sounds produced by the soundbar come out hollow for a second or two. Perhaps tinny? I notice it a few times a day, but it's not constant. I wouldn't call it distracting or very annoying. Just something that I notice. Best way I can describe it....it's as if while two people are talking, the ambient sounds around them go quiet for a second.
This has been the first soundbar I've owned, so my experience with these is limited. Overall, I've been pleased with the unit. Good to very good, but not great.

The reason I bought this sound bar is because it sounded great in-store.
Base was super and the sound was clean.
When I got it home I noticed the subwoofer was a little larger than I thought and it was kind of awkward to place.
The sound is great if you turn it up really loud then you get the effects from the base.
I think it's getting interference from my other wireless devices but there are only so many places to put the subwoofer because of the size.
Over all I'm happy with this sound system. I don't think my neighbors are very happy with it.

We had been wanting to get a sound bar for sometime, as often competing noises around the house tend to drown out the tv. This just happened to be on sale at the right time. Set up was very easy. It synced with all our remotes without us even realizing. Has a good clean sound from what we have tried out in the last couple days. So far so good!

So sound is much better then just the sound out of the LG TV! Easy set up but have had it act up ( quit working so I unplugged it and reinstalled it and work fine again). I had a pioneer 5.1 surround sound previously and the LG sound bar is definitely not as good. But much simpler and don't have to run wires all over the place like my pioneer. All in all I'd recommend it but would highly consider surround sound system.
