This does communicate better through ARC with a LG TV than it does my Samsung for example. But with Vizio since they don't actually build TV SHOW but just use parts from multiple manufacturers you really have no idea whow made the components or drivers you are hooking into. With a Vizio it would be a hit and miss. It sounds like the soundbar isn't gett I Nguyen the correct signal from the TV if you have to reboot to get it up.
