• It measures 19 inches from the microwave body front edge to the end of the open door. I like this microwave oven.

• Hi Babs. When the door for the LG 0.9 cu. ft. NeoChef™ Countertop Microwave with Smart Inverter and EasyClean®, Model # LMC0975ST is fully open, the back end of the door is less than an inch wider than the 18" width for the unit. The front end is about 1 1/2" - 2" wider.
