A:AnswerNo that's not normal! Mine had that as well when I had it shipped to me so I swapped it in store and the noise is gone. Definitely a defective unit.
A:AnswerThanks, Jai, but neither or those are the issue. It's brand new and has no dirt in it. I put in the smaller spinner from our old microwave (1.1 cf versus 1.5 cf) and no noises. But, it has 4 wheels instead of three and nubs. But, the smaller spinner won't hold the bigger tray steady. I need a larger spinner with all wheels unless someone knows of some magic "lubricant" to use. Or, if they will wear down a bit?
A:AnswerI had a situation where I had a cabinet above and a counter below. My solution was to put in a shelf below the cabinet. It also allows me to remove the unit when desired.
