A:AnswerYes, the display is illuminated and very easy to read. The light inside the microwave is also very bright and unlike many of its competitors, it's very easy to see what's going on with the food inside.

A:AnswerI just bought the LG Neo Chef 2 days ago and Sensor1 almost blew up my mug of coffee that I wanted to reheat. It’s worked fine for 2 days when coffee was cold, maybe I should have used “SensorReheat”. I knew something was coming when “Sensor” changed to 8:30 minutes left when it only takes 2 minutes to heat cold coffee. I will watch it and see if I am right about using warm coffee versus cold and sensor reheat instead of sensor 1.

A:AnswerIt worked for me using these directions: disconnect the microwave from electrical power (unplug it). Plug it back in. Open the oven door. Press "Enter" to confirm the "12-hour" display. (If you want the 24-hour display, so that 6pm is 18:00, use the "+" button to change. Repeated pressing of "+" changes from 12-hour to 24-hour.)
Once you have confirmed your choice of 12-hour or 24-hour, press Enter. Then use + and/or - repeatedly to set the hour. Once you have the correct hour, press Enter.
Then use + and/or - to set the minute. Once you have the correct minute, press Enter.
Once you have performed these steps, the clock should work fine. At least that was my experience.
A:AnswerNo the bottom sheet metal is dimpled for the feet. The two front dimples have a 1/8 " rubber dot on them. I cannot get my index finger under the unit. About 1/4" gap. I would guess this would be needed for ventilation.
A:AnswerAs a Project Manager with building design experience...I would highly recommend having space around it. The air gap will allow the microwave to breathe giving it the ability to work properly. Little to no air gap will shorten the life span of the microwave.

A:AnswerThe inverter controller uses a variable duty cycle controller circuit to turn the magnetron on and off very quickly. Consider that the output power - the cooking power - steps up in percentages according to the programmed power level number. The input power will do so correspondingly, but will be higher, because the efficiency isn't 100%.
A:AnswerNeoChef is a Microwave oven with Smart Inverter technology. Through powerful & precise control, it provides faster, more even cooking performance. With precise temperature control, you can cook a variety of dishes that are not possible with other microwave ovens.
