“Can this unit work independently as a washer? That is, does it *have* to be paired with a full-size LG washer? Or can it be used as a small washer by itself?”

• I'm afraid I'm not sure, I have them hooked up and working in tandem. In looking back on how the install worked I suppose you could, but this is very small capacity. As in two pillow cases maximum.

• The Sidekick needs to be paired with its Samsung counterpart. Both units can run together or independently of eachother.

• It *is* a washer, just with a smaller foot print. How is this confusing at all? You can SEE the picture and you should be able to figure the rest out of you have any sense.
