- Answer I got the pedestal for the dryer too so they’re both the same height. Without the pedestal, yes the dryer would be lower than the washer with the pedestal washer.

- Answer It is a self-contained unit, with its own plumbing and power cord. It is the same dimensions as the standard LG sheet metal pedestal. Where you could run into an issue is that the other brand does not have the same "engagement" points as the LG. Functionally, it should be an issue--the trick is in the mechanical engagement.
