Smart Standard-Depth MAX™ 4-Door French Door Refrigerator with Full-Convert Drawer™, Model # LF29H8330S, shows two types of Dispenser Control Panels, Type A, and Type B. Look at the control panel to identify which Dispenser Control Panel you have on your refrigerator. If it is Type A, the instructions explain that it has three icons going from left to right that indicate cubed ice, water, and crushed ice. If you want cubed ice, press the cubed ice icon on the left, then press the dispenser switch (i.e., the Dispenser paddle, as shown in the diagram on page 28 under Using the Ice and Water Dispenser, bullet 2). If you want water, press the water icon between the cubed ice icon and the crushed ice icon, then press the dispenser switch with a glass or other container to dispense water. If you want crushed ice, press the crushed ice icon to the right of the water icon, then press the dispenser switch with a glass or other container to dispense water. If your Dispenser Control Panel is Type B, the icons on the control panel going from left to right are cubed ice, water (which is also the Select button), and crushed ice. Press the Select button repeatedly to select cubed, water, or crushed ice. As you press the Select button repeatedly, the icons will light up to indicate your preferred mode. When the icon for your preferred selection lights up, press the dispenser switch with a glass or other container to dispense cubed, water, or crushed ice which will be indicated by the icon that lights up...^Ivan.
