The water filter is behind the shelf just blow the icemaker. (3rd shelf from top on left door)

Inside the left door at the bottom.  You’ll have to remove the door bin to get to it.  Very easy.

The filter is located behind a removable storage bin on the left hand french door.  Refer to product photos on Best Buy web site and/or page 49 of the owners manual
