I did not know it hooks up to a faucet. We are using the water container that you fill and insert. We have not had any problems.

Firstly though let's just review some features on your LG - 7.3 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle Ultra-large-Capacity Steam Gas Dryer, Model # DLGY1202W which might help us solve this issue. Sensor dry cycles utilize LG’s unique dual sensor system to detect and compare the moisture level in clothes and in the air and adjust the drying time as needed to ensure superior results. The dryer automatically sets the dryness level and temperature at the recommended setting for each cycle. The estimated time remaining will be shown in the display. The reason I bring this up is because if you mix heavier clothing like jeans with lighter clothing, e.g. shirts, because the shirts dry faster, it might confuse the sensor into thinking that the clothes are all dry! This may also happen especially if you place the quicker drying clothing in the front. Try separating the loads into light clothing and heavier clothing. If you're drying one or two jeans with lighter clothing, try adding additional time to the drying cycle and placing the lighter clothing behind the heavier clothing. The other thing you may want to check is the venting system. Often, when we get a new dryer, we just assume that the venting system is fine. You dryer has a FLOW SENSE™ Duct Blockage Sensing System that detects and alerts you to serious blockages in the ductwork that reduce exhaust flow from the dryer. Clean exhaust systems increase efficiency and reduce drying times. Make sure that your filter is also clean before you begin any drying. If none of this helps, contact LG Customer Support at (800) 243-0000...IFV
