It has a container that goes into a small drawer in the outside of the dryer. You fill the small container.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a chamber for water in the upper left corner (where detergent would be on the washer). Resist the temptation to put other chemicals in this water chamber. I tried a couple of drops of fabric softener, to enhance smell, and ended with water coming out of the dryer. It clogged the steam ports. The service technician suggested dryer sheets with the steam feature for the same effect.
