“Quality control issue???? Decals on wash cycles wiped off when I used water and a cotton cloth to clean fron of washer!!! Never had this problem with my Maytags . Lg says its cosmetic and not covered under warranty - how am I to tell which wash cycles I am selecting??? Very upset, had these things since June!”

Sorry for the inconvenience, I haven't hear of anybody having that issue. Maybe there was a rest of abrasive cleaning solution left on the cloth that wasn't noticeable until it mixed with water? I wish I could help but all I can recommend is to contact LG Customer Service at (800) 243-0000 or visit the LiveChat Team at www.LG.com/us/support for assistance. If all fails and you have to fix it yourself, you could have the words printed on vinyl. (See attachment: image from page 9 in the manual.)
