I cannot confirm the Samsung 3-D glasses will work with the LG TV. LGTVs no longer support 3-D technology LG's webOS platform does not supported by HBO Max. However, we are continually working to add the latest streaming applications, such as HBO, but cannot provide a concrete timeline at this time. In the meantime, our webOS platform offers over 600 apps including streaming content and games - including over 180 free streaming channels via the LG Channels app. Also, you can access much of the HBO content through the Amazon Prime, YouTube TV or Apple TV+ apps that are available on our platform. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No updates at all to firmware or apps, so it only supports YouTube and Netflix, regardless of what it implies on the box. The 3-D functions just send the signal to the TV, using whatever 3-D glasses would normally work with your 3-D TV.
