“I am not able to connect this to a new Vizio TV. I connect it to the TV using new HDMI cable, but it won't play anything. Is there any other setup needed? Or are there any known issues connecting to Vizio TV's? The Vizio "support" team wasn't helpful.”

Hopefully you have figured it out but make sure the HDMI cable was flattened and not still in loops and make sure you are changing the input to the right HDMI selection.

Please try again later.The LG Blu-ray Disc™ Player with Streaming Services, Model # BP175 has an HDMI Out that can be connected to any HDMI input on a TV regardless of brand of manufacture of the TV. There are no "known issues" about connecting the player to Vizio TVs.Just make sure you are connecting the player to an HDMI input on the TV and that you switch to the HDMI input on the TV that the player is plugged into. Check to make sure that your HDMI cable is not damaged or defective...^Ivan
