We regret to read that your LG Blu-ray Disc™ Player with Streaming Services, Model # BP175 suddenly stopped playing Blu-ray and DVD discs and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Typically, when you are getting the "no disc" or "check disc" error warnings, it is either that the discs have been placed upside down which we assume is not the issue in this case, or that the lens is dirty and may need cleaning. There are lens cleaning discs for DVD and Blu-ray Players available from retail store that sell Consumer Electronics that you can use to clean the lens. If the discs are dirty with fingerprints or smudges, or if the discs are scratched or broken, the player may not recognize the disc, clean the disc using a soft, dry cloth. The proper way to clean the discs with a soft dry cloth is to wipe from the middle outwards in straight lines. If your discs still will not play, remove any discs from the player and leave the player powered on with the DVD tray opened (if possible) for approximately one hour to resolve the possibility of moisture condensation inside the player. If none of the above steps resolve the issue, the unit will require a repair service...^IFV
