Hello there. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding the scratch resistance of the LG STUDIO 36" Built-In Smart Electric Induction Cooktop (CBIS3618BE). Cooktops, including this model, are designed with a smooth ceramic glass surface for durability. However, they are not entirely scratch-proof. LG does not currently offer a cooktop that is completely scratch-resistant.
