• I apologize, the page refreshed, and I answered the question for a Logitech Harmony without realizing you were asking about the DVD/CD-RW. It says in the instructions that it requires Windows, but if it doesn't work you can always return it. I wish I could be of assistance, but I do not own a Mac at the moment.

• Yes it should. I don't think OS, processor, and model matter. Logitech has Mac Pro in their database.
