- Answer This is an internal drive and hooks directly to the mommy board. It will not work for a laptop. For this, you need an external drive. If you get an external drive, it should hook up to your usb port. I have one of these also.

- Answer It should. it hooks up to the mommy board and with software there should be no problem. I use this to listen to music and watch dvd's. Make sure you have the cd/dvd software installed

QuestionDoes it hold more than one dvd at the same time so I don't have to keep getting up to put the next disc in, I had one years ago that held 5 disc's and I could just play the next one with th remote, I'm handicapped and it's hard if I'm alone.

- Answer No, this DVD player holds only one disk. To play the next disk, you have to replace the the current disk with the next one.
