I think they're easily loud enough. If the volume on my phone is all the way up, I can only tolerate having one earbud in at a time. Otherwise, it's just too loud. Great for walking outdoors. I can hear my music or conversation and still have an ear free for the world around me.

Please try again later.I have been using it quite a bit and most of the time I have had to lower the volume on the LG Tone when I set the Volume output of the device I use to max when viewing either Netflix or Amazon offerings. Only once was the vol. a little low and it was not the headset, it was the level of the recording used for that particular movie. This is a really good unit. I recommend it. I have several others including a high end Sony ear muff style headset that I have put to rest.
