• The standard answer for Bluetooth is 33 feet. It's really more like 20 feet depending on walls and other objects that may reduce signal. The tones vibrate when it looses connection to alert you that you're too far.

• the box says 40 feet approximately and that's pretty true, I've been able to go two rooms over and still have good response.
