The Bluetooth Technology on the LG - Tone Pro Wireless Headphones, Model # HBS-750 is a wireless technology. There are different versions of Bluetooth (i.e Bluetooth version 1.2, version 2.0, version 3.0 version 4.0 etc.,) but each succeeding version is backward compatible so that all the versions will work with one another. The Bluetooth technology is the same in all versions, they all have the same range of 33 feet or 10 meters, where the versions differ is in their specifications. Wireless indicates that the unit doesn't have a cord to connect to another device.
Bluetooth is the radio band that connects the device to whatever you want it to connect to. This is what makes the device wireless
