• I purchases one for my mother for this exact reason. She won't talk on the phone without it now, which is always entertaining as she fumbles with putting the earbuds in, but it works for her!

• Yes I have a set of these and I suffer from 75% hearing loss and I can hear my phone conversations perfectly fine with no background noise interference I love them

• The amplifying is great but with noise canceling earbuds it's irrelevant, they will be able to hear it no problem.
