They are all compatible with iPads. Not all the features on the LG Tone will work with an iPad or iPhone because LG makes Android phones. On an iPad you will get music and sound, but that is all. The differences between the LG Tone models are personal choice. Personally, I think the LG Tone + is the best value right now.
