I spotted these during a holiday sale for half of the original price of $100. I saw that these had JBL earbuds and I was sold. I use JBL audio monitors for music making and these little guys sound just as honest. I like how holding down the VOL+ and VOL - buttons simultaneously on the neckband allows you to toggle between 3 different EQ curves. EQ modes include Bass boost, Flat (no sound enhancements) and Treble boost. There is a pleasant little beep sound to confirm each change to the sound. The noise cancellation feature actually works pretty well. Sound quality during calls is really good and the gentle vibration feedback from the neckband to notify you of an incoming call is very cool. Next on my list are a few JBL bluetooth speakers and a pair of JBL Everest Elite 300s or 700s!!!

I like this headset it has great sound quality very clear when talking on the phone, the only thing I don't like about it is that it picks up too much background noise especially if you are driving a truck or work van also the wires sometimes can be anoying but other than that it's a great product, I recomend it to anybody

This is the first blue tooth headset that I have owned, it is not as sturdy as I think it should be but I love the convenience of answering the phone.

My other one got stolen with my tuck and I needed a new one. I LOVED my old one but it's not available any more so I got the new one. It's fine for listening to music but if you're going to use it for a phone call, the person you're talking to will have a hard time hearing you. My old one worked GREAT!

The ear plugs are only one size. And cannot be used effectively if you are active. Also tended to cause adverse effect on my iPhone connectivity!

    Good alternative to wired headsets

Bought these headphones after breaking two wired earbud sets by accidentally snagging the cords too often. I have used this headset for over one month. The audio quality of my two previous wired earbud sets (Samsung brand, provided in box with Galaxy S5 smartphone) was amazing, but I just couldn't manage those intrusive dangling cords. This around-the-neck headset has been a godsend. The audio quality is on par with my previous wired headsets, with JBL Signature sound providing good bass & good mid-range. I have super sensitive ears & can adjust volume settings between my phone & the headset to find the perfect volume level for me. A flexible neck band offers assurity that you won't snap the headset with rough handling. The weight of the headset is super light, becoming almost undetectable, as I have forgot that I was wearing them & went to bed with them still on. Locating control buttons while wearing headset becomes second nature with little usage. Battery keeps great charge - I haven't run it dead yet, although I tend to plug things up when not in use. Heavy use of ambient noise canceling (ANC) function will drain battery quicker. My only wish is that the Ultra model would include cord management like the Infinum model does. It takes only seconds to snap the earbuds into their magnetic cubby holes on the Ultra model, but the earbuds can sometimes be jostled out of their holding area by removing a seatbelt, taking off a shirt, or other actions that cause something to brush against your neck. Cord management would eliminate this potential problem & keep the earbuds tucked easily & safely away when not in use. Bluetooth functionality paired easily with my Galaxy S5 phone. As a microphone during phone calls, the headset works great. The other person may hear quite a lot of your background noise, though. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase & do recommend them.

The lg-tone ultra, blue tooth headset is a good headset. Great battery life, comfortable to wear, and pretty good sound quality. Where this headset falls short is in some of the features it boasts. 1. The noise cancellation Feature offers no discernable difference in background noises between on and off. Even with ear pieces wedged tightly in ear. 2. The range of the piece is significantly less than the previous 700 model. 3. The music quality is no better than a $5 pair of gummy earphones despite boasts of the jbl speakers. 4. The equalizer feature with bass boost offers no discernable difference in any of the three settings. 5. Not very water or sweat resistant. Calls are cut off and other functions go haywire if moisture gets on either side of the Main piece. 6. Wire retention clips pop off way to easily. 7. Even in best of circumstances, holding phone in hand. Calls will drop, fail to connect, and have interference from who knows what. When this works as a Bluetooth headset, it's OK at best. Much too problematic to be used for my business calls. When used for music, I'd take a $20 pair of Sony ear buds any day over these.

Let me start by saying that I do like these. I've tried other headsets, I think the sound quality is as good as powerbeats 2 or the jaybirds at a lot less. This is my 3rd pair. I still have 2 pair, I have this pair for planes, shopping or working out because the noise canceling is a nice feature to drown out screaming children. I have another pair of the $60 ones for everyday stuff like listening to music and the radio at work. The Bluetooth is great on any of them. The only complaint I have is that they don't get that loud. I have an iPhone so maybe it's different with an android but I can still catch a bit of background noise. The best ones I had were the generation 2 LGs because you turn up the music on the phone and the headset itself, it's a one and done here. But the wires have a safe place to store and the controls are easy for anyone to use. I work for a car dealership and I got mine, next thing I know, 10 other people got them as well, so they are doing something right. Unless you absolutely have to have the Beats brand name, save yourself $120 and buy these.

These are by no means the best phones on the market however, they are a definite improvement over their predecessor (HBS700). They key to getting some decent sound, as with most in ear phones, is using the right size earpiece. Too small and you lose a lot of bass response and allow ambient noise. For the money though, these are great. Especially so if you are doing something that requires the occasional removal to hear something else. They are so lightweight you'll forget you're wearing them. One star off for diminished volume-don't plan on wearing them while using power equipment. They will not overcome the ambient noise.

I bought these wireless headphones when I started my running hobby. The sound is great and they fit snug in my ears. The battery last forever! I've fully charged it once and I've used them for hours and hours without having to recharge. When you first turn it on, it will tell you the battery life. (pretty nifty!) The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because when I run, the part that sits around my neck lifts and bumps my collarbone. It can get painful after a while, but if I wear a shirt that I can tuck it under, the shirt helps to restrict the movement of the headphones.

I bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves them! They are easy to use, light weight and the charge lasts for days. I was also extremely happy with how clear the sound is when he uses them. I can't even tell the difference between when he uses the headphones and when he doesn't.

Really convenient not having wires, good sound, I'm told the next step up has better sound, max volume could be a bit louder for the song you really want to rock. Battery is as listed long day bluetooth of music no problem, plug your phone in though. I stream and Bluetooth most days with phone charging for about an hour out of 10 hours iPhone 4s I'll get this one again, size, price, value right for me. Get the more expensive one if you like really loud music all the time until you're deaf or you're an audiophile.

I have the Samung Note 4 which I love, but it's huge! I purchased these headphones primarily for use with my phone. I like that I can leave my phone on the desk and move around and still have great connection. I have clear reception around 30 feet or more away from the phone, although reception is greatly affected by walls, connection is poor if I go into another room but it doesn't drop the call. I particularly like that it is practically hands free while driving. It announces texts as they are received, it will say who the text is from, and will read the entire text for some, but not all messages. I wish the voice command function worked better. It is so convenient when I can just tap the button to activate the voice command on my phone to dial or dictate a text, but sometimes it just won't work. The redial button can be accidentally activated by the seat belt if it's allowed to slide under the shoulder harness. The sound is so clear that I can use just one ear bud. The ear buds are relatively easy to knock loose from the docking location, but I don't find this to be a big inconvenience. The neckband is light and comfortable, I do prefer it over wearing wired earbuds that keep me tethered to my phone. I can't say how comfortable the band would be if it is really hot, or you're working out. I also have not used them for listening to music, but the sound quality is quite good and the noise cancelling function will help block some back ground noise. These may not be everyone's first choice for use with their phone, but they are quite convenient, and I would have given more stars if the voice command was consistent.

These headphones work great. They can go a long time,10+ hours, without recharging. Easy to pair with devices. Good sound, I,m not sure about the range, but I can leave my phone, or any device, in the kitchen and walk around the house and still stay connected.

I bought this bluetooth headset for working out and for my wife to use for work. So far I've not been disappointed. The battery life is superb. The sound quality is great. Running on the treadmill with it, it does not fall out like what others say. But I do hear the pounding of my steps when I run. But that just might be how fitted the ear piece is to my ears. Overall I love it.

A nice quality set of wireless ear buds. Pros: good sound quality. Long battery life (only had to recharge once during use after 8 hours.) Noise cancelling works well. Not world class but really cuts down ambient noise. Light and controls easy to use. Cons: Bluetooth starts dropping around 10 feet (using Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4) Never used phone feature so cannot comment on that.
