If you want something more light weight to listen to TV, get TV ears. Comes with 2. headsets and an extra box you can set close to you hooked up via Bluetooth to the main charger. If Best Buy doesn't still sell them, Costco does. You will hear crystal TV with them. Run about $200. Hangs in your ears, not covers them like regular big stereo headsets. Worth the money.

Things like Netflix generally have lower decibel sound output that makes listening difficult no matter the device you use. Just as with regular TV the show you are watching will be a lower decibel than the commercials. The in ear function of the speakers does help with listening enjoyment and I would recommend this device for the quality of sound. I hope this helped.
