Yes Best Buy will take your old machine for a fee. We did get free delivery & hook-up it was a promotion.

Open box items are discounted so they have to charge for delivery and set up. If you buy from the regular best buy, the prices are higher because the delivery and set up is included in the price. That's the way it was explained to me by the sales staff. Hope this has been helpful.
