“Why on Earth is this designed to tilt the TV backwards? I can deal with having to pay $200 extra for the G3 stand, but not if it doesn't even put the TV up straight. Will my old C9 77" stand fit the G3?”

• Hi! The stand for the 77" and 83" G3 was designed to slightly tilt the TV backwards to provide for an optimum viewing angle when the TV is at a lower position. Moreover, the stand for your 77" C9 won't fit the G3 as they aren't compatible. ^Chris

• I don't know if it'll fit your c9 stand. But I place wedges under the stand to tilt the TV forward . And it works great
