• NOPE! At least mine doesn't charge through USB-C at all. I can charge devices attached to the USB-C Port but I cannot charge the laptop through the USB-C Port

• Yes, you can charge the laptop via USB-C, https://www.lg.com/us/laptops/lg-17u70p-p.aas8u1-ultra-slim-laptop. You can connect an external device to the USB-C™ port to charge it. ^Daphane
